Santiago

Originally from Mexico City, Santiago moved to Los Angeles in 1989.

Santiago's introduction to L.A. Salsa style was motivated and inspired by what he saw in the top night clubs in the 1990's. He incorporated what was happening on the LA dance scene with his native salsa style, hence LA SALSA STYLE.

Santiago is known not only for his great performances but also his passion with providing his students with quality learning. His enthusiasm and passion for the salsa dance is reflected in his attitude and dance classes.

A great instructor is able to transmit his positive energy and provide his students with confidence. Santiago does just that! He teaches his students "In salsa there are no mistakes, only new moves being created". With his talent and generosity he has inspired many students to become top salsa competitors.

He currently teaches at Rouhi Dance Studio and continues to perform and choreograph in the San Fernando Valley.
